If it made you happy mate it was worth it - this isn't a competition! My best is £200 for three hours clearing up a couple of medium-sized windblown sugar maples but that was on a private insurance claim.

i think my easyest money was earnt on a stump i ground out , it was a sycamore stump roughly 26 inches accros . i charged 170 to grind it as i thought it was going to be a pain in the arse with a little pedestrian grinder , 45 mins later i was on my way again as the estate gardener said he would clear up as it would give him something to do

 

That dont sound like easy money, that price sounds about right.

Not knocking you. hourly rate is all irrelevant as it depends on what kit you have. 40 and hour is good for a climber or groundy, but these guys on here with there mogs and the biggest trees in the world ever need to make much more than that and more than I need to earn too.

no need, one of the residents cam out with coffee and rolls n slice at 10am..so we actually went for lasagne and chips for our lunch..yum yum yumitty yum
