I heard the bearings are good for 800 hours... same as owt it depends how its treat and worked. You can demo 1 all day long but you wont really know what it is like until you use it day in day out.

The rollers need to be turned down...or it does rattle the machine. Apparently the bearings are not of the highest quality. It is a great chipper nevertheless...minimum sned ding needed....just grabs it and spits it out

I think they seem a good machine and as with any new product it will have its teething problems. People have there own opinions as to what's the best machine for them which is good as it would be boring if we all had the same machine. I hope you enjoy the Tr6.

Have any actually racked up that sort of hours yet?

 

All in the maintenance though as you say, my old man modified TW150's flywheel bearings as got fed up of them failing. Turned it into a grease able system. :thumbup1:

The two I see have only 329 and 325 hours on so far and they are early tr6s. No signs of significant wear but they have not been problem free.

 

Lots more problems with operators especially with feed rate always maxed out.
