Theres couple that I remember from Stoke on trent where I lived for a few years.

 

'Cos kick a bo agin a wo, and y'ed it WI' YER 'EAD AND bost it'

 

This is a old Stoke saying, Meaning Can you kick a ball against a wall head it back and burst it.

 

Also " Not backwards at coming forwards"

 

The other one I like is " He's not as green as he is cabbage looking"

that stumped me for a bit alex, but surrfolk speak is commin back now

 

Thole dun deow set on a bow,

N’if sheent gorn she set theya now

 

The old brown pigeon sat on a bough

And if she isn’t gone she sits there now

 

on the drag today
