For the past 4 months I've been paying £100+vat to a seo company.

 

Biggest waste of money. I've done my own websites in WordPress and use the seo yoast plugin to optimise my website.

 

I reached my level of expertise and thought paying a professional/expert would make things better.

 

My search listings haven't improved. Hits to site haven't changed.

 

I compare one website against the other I've got running to see if paying helped.

 

I would suggest that if you read up on seo and are happy implementing what's suggested then there is no need to pay. If it's all a foreign language then maybe helpful to pay.

My site is having a redesign by the company that did it originally. I pay a lot more than £95 a year for my SEO but I have more work than I can keep up with because of their work.

For the last couple of months work has gone up by about 30% from the same time over the last few years. Only difference I can see is that we are being promoted by the company and using social stuff.

I'll keep on going with them - even had to take on more staff!!

My website was rated 4.0 I paid a friend to make t £50. I'm always top 3 in the area usually first as I have just done.. See pic. Another website listed there is also mine!
