Depends really. Do you want to do something with the timber yourself? Do you need quick cash from the job? It's worth £300-350, or thereabouts as it is, £2000 milled and kiln dried.

If your unsure then sell it

Unless you are set up to mill and dry and store it will be worth nothing to you.

I would sell it for £50 keep a board or 2 for you or give it away if you can have a third or half of it as payment

I gave a big nice oak tree to a nice chap and I got a kitchen floor cut dried and planed.

Lovely that I cut it down and someone made it useable and I have a free floor :thumbup:

Cut some table slabs like this, off of the bottom we sold all these as stump wood tables. The customer or yourself just put a sheet of round glass on top and they look stunning

 

Just out of curiosity, how do you attach the glass to the wood? Do you have any pictures of the finished product?
