all its going to do is sit in a yard ,cutting logs ,nothing heavy so dosnt need to be fancy wi aircon,glass & heating :biggrin:

Probably a few bits missing oil leaks and temperamental at that price.:laugh1:

Leyland were good old tractors ,will run a splitter well. International had good hydraulic flow as well.

 

Hi Ian I know Were I can get a good industrial Massey tractor for £1500 With a good loader will lift 1 ton easy is this cheap thanks Jon

Industrial don't tend to hold there price as well jon as agri models so I'd say it's on the cheap side of fair.

 

Hi Ian I no they do not hold there money as will I no this one is good tractor has link arms in good nick will run my splitter and lift a 1 ton plus so get all round tractor 3 cylinder Perkins engine 👍thanks Jon 👍👍👍👍🐸

3 cylinder engines where much better than the later 4 cylinder engines Jon :thumbup1:

Right Johnny, I know a lad who has a Leyland 255 apparently in good condition. Has slight leak on water pump which he is going to fix; no pick up hitch just a solid drawbar. Apparently in really good condition other than that, with new front tyres and would make a good yard tractor. He was hoping for £2k ish but would be open to offers.

 

I have his number should you want to talk to him. Located near Amble in Northumberland.
