Used to use Solo sprayers exclusively when I was spraying acid to clean brickwork for a living (nasty job).

They're very robust, take some abuse and were chemical resistant (the model I used was anyway).

Best thing is they keep spares of all the parts that wear out. I used to order stacks of the wands at a time as they're the tiphjngs that get mangled on a weekly basis. Likewise seals go from continuos use.

Solo sprayers are great when new. I've promoted them on here before. Their comfortable, stable to fill up and transparent, so you can see how full they are. But, when they get a bit older they tend to wear and drip a bit from the piston area. You can get new seals, but it's the plastic that wears, and they still weep a bit. This can leak onto your lower back.

I've now moved onto berthoud sprayers. Just as good as solo, but without the leak problem. Both are better than cooper pegler in my opinion.

Have a look at Nomix sprayers not cheap but 5l will last you all day. When I'm spraying shrub beds I start about 9.30 and finish about 3.30 and use about 5L. It's light on your back don't have to keep filling up with water. There are based in Andover, hampsire

How does it last all day? Is that just spot spraying?

How good is it over bigger areas?

Sounds too good to be true, I don't doubt you its just surprising.
