I think everyone here would agree with you, Stephen. The fact that it's blowing a gale doesn't help either.

I'd try and price myself out of the next one.

To be fair, the climbing wasn't too bad (no ivy mind), but the chip volume caught us out and the timber is HEAVY!

The dragging and chipping was nasty.

Climbing = pain, dragging = pain, chipping = more pain, moving log = swearing and more pain. & ivy thrown in there = a bad day :001_smile:

I once felled a 30 foot 1 and dragged chipped the lot myself on saturday morning in the summer because nobody would come in! never again :thumbup1:
