Correct qualifications to climb tree's?

Hello everyone I currently have my own small business which includes tree surgery and landscaping. I am starting to do more tree work than landscaping but cannot do the trees myself as I am not qualified so I have to get my uncles to do the work as they are fully qualified. But they are very busy and cannot always come and do my jobs, so I'm looking into taking the necessary qualifications to do the work myself but not sure what I need. Could any one tell me what tickets I need and where I can do them?

If you are going to be working on trees it would be a good idea to study for the ABC level 2 certificate in arboriculture. This would give you a basic knowledge of tree biology and a reasonable knowledge of the many types of work undertaken by an arborist I.e. crown reduction, crown lifting, dismantling etc.

No just having some family issues at the moment unfortunately so going to have to get myself qualified , I agree would of been much easier with them starting me off. Do the courses train you from scratch or do you have to know abit about what you're doing as I haven't really done much?
