Transit crew cab problem

The problem is i have been offered one with ally body told weighs under 2 tonne or there abouts.

 

I aint a fan of crewcabs but ill leaning to the darkside. Any one got pros and cons compared to normal size tipper.

 

Would appreciate helpful advice.:confused1:

on the pluss side your kit stays dry and when you leave your truck your kit is securly locked away , on the negative side the dont carry quite as much chip . oh and the other BIG pluss is that you can recline yor seat so your not sat bolt upright and you can get some shut eye should you wish to at lunch time !

I would always have a crewcab over a single, I doubt it weighs under 2 tonne even with an alloy body. I think they are about 2 ton as a chassis cab.

 

The volume of space you lose on the tipper is irrelevant since the weight is more important, think a crewcab adds about 150kg.

 

Easier to keep kit in, and most important for me way more comfy if you have a 3 man crew, I just wouldnt have a single cab as my main vehicle tbh, obviously just my opinion and preference.:001_smile:
