I've always bought oregon bars, chains, and sprockets. Last bar i bought was made in the USA ( it's normally Canada i think).

This oregon bar is from China.

China makes stuff to a price. If you want them to make a decent one, they can do it. If you want junk, they will make that as well.

From their website

"Still headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Blount manufactures in the United States, Canada, Brazil and China. Its operations employ more than 3,000 employees worldwide and products are sold in more than 100 countries."

Not much isn't made in China these days and if it's got components in it there will be some part of most things made in China.

Blount inc took the lead several years ago and built a factory in China to cope with the demand from the Asia chainsaw OEM's. The same standards, machines and indeed top engineers from Portland and Canada set it up and still oversee it. It matters not which factory be it USA, Canada, Brazil or China products are all made to the same standard using the same materials.
