First attempt at a dragon in sweet chestnut. Used the Dremel to do teeth and claws but its a fact that all dragons own a Dremel for their teeth and claws. Took an age to dry in this weather !!

Excellent stuff , that is more in the way of fine sculpture than chainsaw carving !! looks like a smooth / polished finish very refined I bet your firewood pile is immaculate !!! LOL When I see work like this I wonder are you an Arb with some artistic talent or an artist who likes chainsaws ? Keep it up !

Very impressive. Getting into seeing what you boys can carve. Does anyone carve up in my area? I have some conifer 18" - 22" dia and 2.5 lengths, should i cut it to say 4ft lengths and stick it at the back of the shed incase someone wants some in the future.
