I've got both so want to put them together that isn't actually a picture of my trailer just an image off Google to give you idea of length and the amount of wheels it's running. There are the drop down legs either side at the back. The crane I believe is rated at 500kg but nothing in particular possibly a tonne bag of logs?

I found with the one I had that a dumpy bag was easy enough to get on and off. Ibc's I couldnt quite get off, had to raise the swing lift a bit. Worth every penny, mind.

Like I say I removed one limb and that lift was payment when I thought I was just doing a favour.. We collect green waste for gardeners and charge by the dumpy bag so you can imagine how rammed they can be! That's good to know I only sell logs in the dumpy bags. This would be brilliant. Just no idea where best positioned.

The floor of the trailer is pretty solid and there are struts to plate it too. My only question un answerd at the moment, now I know it's going on the front should I want to drive any big kit or a veihcle onto the trailer it won't be in the way is will I need a supporting leg coming out from the corner the trailers mounted? I can't wait to get it on there.

Should be useful I just wondered if the floor alone would take it or it you needed to spread the load somehow.

Not a prayer, the floor is a bit of plywood and that alone won't even put up with driving around with the crane bolted to it.

Most trailers need modifying to mount something like that.

To mount my hand crane on my tipper I cut a steel plate to fit between the inside and outside underbody rails of the body, then bolted an angle on each rail the same length as the plate, then bolted through the crane base, the body of the tipper then the steel plate. This means that when the crane bears weight it is pulling on about 18 square inches of steel, which pulls against the angles which pull against the chassis of the tipper. Seems to work and would have only taken about 2 hours if I'd had sharp drill bits!
