I got told, when I started thirty yrs back, Stihls for climbing and big saws, husky's for everything else.

Bought a couple of the x-torx's this year and wouldn't swop them. Saying that, I've loved the 254xps, the 357xps so it's a natural progrssion

Hi just wanting peoples opinion on which saw would be best for felling, i am thinking Stihl 441 or 044 and 20 inch bar? Sound about right? Thanks.

461 not 441 . . . but if you can find a good second hand 44 Magnum then that'd do too!

Husky 560 and 18" b&c will take care of those pines! And you'll have finished, cleared up and had a brew in the same time as it would take to fell them with a Stihl
