come on Andy there's nothing wrong with a petrol RL in a tight space!:001_smile:

The RL stands for???????............................

Really Lame

The R series are a thing for the rivet counting enthusiasts and the M series not far behind

I love my Bedford MK, does everything that's asked of it, winching ,lifting, extracting, 33 years old.

rather drive a bedford than a Matador! have driven both.

Also a Landrover fc 2b with an old perkins engine ****

Only thing that makes me sad is the fact, so have I. The RL were still in use at CTC RM when I joined up and my dad used to buy ex army stock for lime speading in fields in 50's & 60's..... can't remember to go to the loo these day's, but remember this:biggrin:

Most terrifying drive of my life was in an MK with no floor, on an 8ft towbar behind a mog. Never again!

And I lost my lunch out the floor :(
