Wood walkers if you're mostly on the ground.

Airstreams if you're mostly in a tree.

It's a durability thing.

I just got my airstreams resoled for less than £50. That's after a year of daily use. Reckon I'll get another year out of them.

I was planning to get mine re-soled but the grey mid-sole disintegrated long before the outer sole wore down.

Rubbish!

 

I've had two pairs that have done the same, last pair about 10 months old, so got in touch with Meindl, they want me to send them to them & hopefully get a refund.

Let you know how I get on.

I'm on my forth pair now as they are so comfy to wear.
