I just got my airstreams resoled for less than £50. That's after a year of daily use. Reckon I'll get another year out of them.

50 quid is excellent for new tyres on your boots..especially the Magnificant Streams of Air! I Love em!

So long as they're not worn down to the grey bit on the sole they can replace the vibram unit. Took two days at a place in Byker Newcastle. Quite a few boot repairers send boots there to be fixed so it's a good price. £42.50 I paid.

I was planning to get mine re-soled but the grey mid-sole disintegrated long before the outer sole wore down.

I've had two pairs that have done the same, last pair about 10 months old, so got in touch with Meindl, they want me to send them to them & hopefully get a refund.

Let you know how I get on.

I'm on my forth pair now as they are so comfy to wear.
