Not CE marked (like the Zig-Zag), but for what it's worth, the stainless steel links are ANSI rated at over 8000 LBS MBS, ( the neptune coated friction links at over 16000 intact) and the aluminum spine, arms, and attach point are all aircraft grade 7075 aluminum alloy.

Great, thanks Gordon. By stiff I mean that it doesn't seem to flatten too easily.
