large grey poplar for milling?

Hi guys.im not a milling person but ive took this large grey poplar down today and it seems like its too good to be fire wood:confused1:is it any good for anyone.i have no idea what its worth so Pm me as soon as if interested to buy it to mill or it will be chopped up tommorow.its about 3 ft diameter and about 30 ft long.cheers

i kind of guessed that it wouldn't be any good but i thought i ll give it a try:)

It burns well enough once try.

 

I'm actually burning some Manchester Pop at the moment, they were felled last week, its burning just fine on my 150KW out door boiler

Don't give up on it. I recently transported a couple of poplar sticks for someone for milling. It's certainly not useless though shifting small amounts is probably harder than large ones as it does have industrial uses.
