pricing up land

Hi mate if it backs onto house then it will make IVE seen it around here mad 10 years ago one chap went in with one shot at £120k for 5a that was 10 years ago but this chap had DYSON money 😍so it only pocket money thanks Jon

 

Sealed bids, I won't follow it!:blushing:

 

As Difflock said, we don't make the stuff anymore.

 

The price of land (around here) as gone mad again. £100-150k for a "garden plot"!

A friend of mine got 12 acres of land off a farmer that backed onto a load of houses, he then bought the first house that came onto the market that backed onto his field and kicked the fence down. Instant farm.

Probably right:) Its worth remembering that when buying a small lump of land that it is a lot easier to get sheds etc put up if you are 12 acres or more, you only need to submit the 28 day notice for any ag buildings and its down to the local planning authority to prove you dont need them if they want to object or refuse. Smaller lumps of land need proper applications put in for anything which can end up a complete ballache.
