Carbon geckos here with full Velcro, next pair will be the Ali geckos with Velcro as I've herd there better for branch walks etc because of the thinner bit that goes under your boot. Not that my carbon geckos are stuffed, had them 4 years and still look and work perfect. Tip for the Velcro straps, keep them fastened when you take them off to stop dirt from filling the Velcro

Good tip on the Velcro.

 

I like the Velcro bottoms as you can get them on and off quick and tighten them as much as you like.

 

Fiddling around with titchy buckles on frosty mornings that slacken off after two minutes of climbing just ain't my thang.

Are the tree gaffs the long (61mm) distel replacements gaffs that you have Dan?

 

Yes.

 

 

 

 

 

Are the gaffs easy to change? Like could I have the long ones in and just change them for be short ones when needed? Cheers

 

It's two torx bolts to change them. Really easy.
