how old would you say is too old to start climbing ??? cheers sfa

I did my climbing tickets earlier this year. I'm 49. 50 next year and I climb three or four times a week. I (reasonably) expect to be climbing for the next 10 years. Being quite new to climbing I am learning and improving with each climb. As you progress you learn how to be efficient and conserve energy.

Hope this helps to encourage you.

I've had some really good encouragement From people on here!

Never let anyone tell you you are too old!! :)

I am 46 and I climb about 6 times a month which are all of my garden customers, being a farmers lad I have kept my fitness fairly well and weighing 12half stone at 6foot can still spring about BUT its when you take a knock it seems forever to get over the aches !

I am happy with a few climb jobs .
