I guess Husqvarna ( Flymo ) in the UK take the line that they have never sold this model so why should they set the parts up and order them, ranting at Sweden will make not an atom of difference, it would be like them condoning you boys bringing in models from the US, which is another sale they have lost.

That could be, but it shouldn't really matter when the parts will fit the models sold in the UK.

Husqvarna ( Flymo ):lol::biggrin: You mean Electrolux ........The big H bought up Flymo ages ago . Electrolux is the overall body .

The Husqvarna OPE Group was cut loose from Electrolux in 2006, even though the other Husqvarna products still are under Electrolux "wings".

Husqvarna UK was based in Stonehouse in Gloucesterhire, it was taken over by the a group company, it is now controled by by the Aycliffe Flymo factory, where they also control Jonsered, Mcculloch,Partner Consumer, and Gardena, the only products they do not control is Husqvarna Construction,Diamont Boart.

Just to get the full picture, we were a private company Hyett Adams Ltd, owned by Lord Dickinson, we took over Partner from JT Lowe, and Jonsered from West Mac, Electrolux toke over the company and removed all non Electrolux products we were selling, Sandvik, Bernard, later Husqvarna split completley from Electrolux, the only connection now is Distri parts which is still an Electrolux company, it is also in Aycliffe just next door to Flymo.
