Think your machine has the 22" flipper Jonny.

 

I think it does Dean.

 

The 65 I had was modified by a local fabricator and it does make a massive difference to chip containment.

 

There is a thread with both mine and Dean Lofthouses modified chutes.

It's just blunt. Typical hire machine. With sharp blades, anvil and rollers it would be fine.

 

I agree how would you expect anything to chip conifer with blades like that ,as for flying chips you need to enclose the truck either a roof or tilt ,bandits have great chip throwing power and chip conifer well when sharp.

I used to cut the leg off a pair of old trousers and fit that over the chute, bungee cord it on. makes the chip slow a bit and come out in a controlled manor. chutes with flat tops bounce it everywhere, rounded types like the timberwolf ones tend to be less messy. :lol:
