I rather enjoyed that. Someone who can climb both down and presumably up and is good at it. Ok, so he didn't have the backup of ropes for most of the descent but he didn't need it, as was so plainly evident.

In my childhood and even recently, I climbed trees without gear. I admit not with a chainsaw and the highest tree was maybe 2/3s the height of that one. But if you climbed things as a youngster, you never forget how to. Just for most, other things get in the way later on; cars, work, romance, family, music, injury, fear. Whatever it maybe, most give up.

Let me start out by saying I am not a climber but I have my tickets but prefer to be on the ground. That's not a productive climber yes he can jump around a tree but any one working at hight for years become fearless of falling. It's not just climbing it's cutting it to go straight in chipper or cord keeping an eye on ground crew if they have brash piling up come down help out and be back up before the chipper has run out of material. Then safety that guys just got a fall arrest harness on that would leave him helpless and after 20 mins of hanging in one of them it's getting serious. To be honest it looks sloppy nothing to praise him for as far as I am concerned
