The Giants fireplace at The Mermaid Inn, in Rye, East Sussex is a monster, well worth a look if you're ever there.

 

 

 

Cheers, can't imagine bigger than that, especially going but the size of the logs/trees they're burn there

I did Jon, Michael Eavis fire place is an absolute beast 10ft across easy, the amount of wood he gets through every night is unreal!

 

10ft, what size room is that heating?

Won't be the biggest in the country but there's one in the 'big house' here that you can stand up inside! I think it's about 10ft wide.
