Largest fireplace in the UK?

This is one I am building at the moment not the biggest I'am sure. It measures just over 8 ft by 5ft, the beam I milled from an oak from my own land.

 

Hi Ash1, out of interest did you have to kiln dry the beam or apply any treatment to it? Cheers

The oak tree had fallen 8 years before I milled it and it was still very wet.It has been another 4 years since using it as the beam for the Inglenook. Having said that I would have used it straight away if I had needed it 4 years earlier.

I have just used a French oak beam, green, on another fireplace with a stove installed, in a Barn with minimal shrinkage and movement although that is only 9 x 5 inches 6 feet long.
