A decent chain, Boron/steel, will stop the opportunists. The, rather long and not working, link was for extreme metal cutting reciprocating saw blades, which, at $560 each, one would expect to make short work of most things.

The 1mm grinding disc is also a worry, but at least saws and grinders are noisy.

its a pity you couldn't get carbide coated chain theres nothing you can do to prevent them now you can only make it noisier and more hassle to nick your kit then they go and take some other poor buggers gear that isn't so well protected
