Yeah, but the Americans do a lot of frankensaws where they take the engine of one saw and fit it to a smaller saw, likewise I've heard of old dolmar cranks fitted to 090's to give a bigger displacement

 

Yea . Anything is possible given enough time and money and engineering prowess . May be not economical but possible ...:biggrin:

A new design spring is on the way, and stubby your an old rough ass!

 

The " new design spring " ( stiffer I'm told ) will make it worse . A stiffer spring with less give in it will put even more strain on the already weak mount ...... PS I am old and I suspect my ass is probably rough !

Changing that av mount plate is a fair amount of work, carb off, tank off, wiring off etc

 

Guessing husky dealers had better get good and swapping it out on warrenty... Might have to brake mine before it runs lol
