You really do hate that saw.

 

Pity as our one has been brilliant and quite a lot of our customers rave about their 540

 

I think its safe to say you got a bad one.:001_huh::thumbdown:

 

Have you slung it to the dark depths of the workshop or is it still in use?

If that's your definition of a good saw, what's a bad one?:lol:

 

201... Poor engine, gutless, bogs down, bad handle contructuon... Solid block could work well as a brick in a wall but poor for tree work :eek::P:D

Any one tried putting a T540 engine in an old MS 200T chassis ...?:biggrin:

Yeah, but the Americans do a lot of frankensaws where they take the engine of one saw and fit it to a smaller saw, likewise I've heard of old dolmar cranks fitted to 090's to give a bigger displacement
