Shat it a bit when i read the op...then saw the 2014 date...i was about to check my device for fractures.

Love the zz,runs well on 12.5mm yale mick if your needing rope a wee bit thicker.

Enjoying my spiderjack 2.1 with rope wrench at the mo.Pretty smooth

I don't use mine too much now I srt most things but I can remember a time when I accidently managed to flick my lanyard between the rope and zz, I bombed down a good 10ft, managed to stop myself hitting the deck by grabbing the rope above the zz. My hands were smouldering [emoji16] luckily there was a stream next to the tree so I stuck them in there haha

Its a lovely device but aint had a real good climb on it yet - definately need to match a rope you like - to it . But love its mid-line detach , so am giving the Teuffelberg Red a go this weeknend, K
