My understanding is Doug has sold off the shop and some of his stock but will continue to sell some stuff from his base out at Milton Abbot

Well, that's going to be a big pain in the backside, was regularly hiring mowers and chippers of him, some people slate him, but I always found him very fair and sorted me out good deals on saws etc.

I know there was an auction of most of the shop contents, a week ago saturday... A mate bought a roll of prussic cord and a box of random blower tubes. It was apparently a large busy affair with things going for crazy prices.

 

Don't know the ins and outs of his business now, but he's not a good bet for trying on arb gear ref the op's question.
