Need a new harness

I climbed for about a month with the stein vega but found that almost every day the harness was trying castrate me!! Really didn't get on with it.

I think if you like the Willans you'll love the Komet Butterfly, or is it the Dragonfly.

The seat one, not the leg loops one.

Dragonfly is the seat one. We will have them at the APF if your going and need to try one.

I've just got my Tree Austria 3.2 (the newest) and I think its brilliant. Thought the leg loops were a bit loose at first (thought i had got wrong size!) But turns out that its deliberate. The leg loops are proper big and go right up to your backside, has a sliding bridge, like treemotion, and personally i dont think its that busy, 4 or 5 loops and and one on back for your saw.

 

Spent 5 hours in it yesterday trimming and putting 30 metres of bracing in a horrible 6-stemmed sycamore, and it was very comfortable, as far as comfortable can go with harnesses.

 

Long story short, I would recommend one! And its cheaper than the tree motion...

I had a wellans( i know i cant spell) for about 5 years , i thought i would try the new tree hog razor back, as above big leg loops, iv been quite impresed not as comfy as the whellans but not bad, and i like the floating ds no more harness twisting round.

I just got myself a don blair ultralight harness from the states after using a butterfly and various others. I find it's one of the best ones to stop me getting a bad back, plus it's very comfy to climb in.

Can't grumble about the Komet Butterfly had 2 before I got a TM. I think their a great harness for the money

The treemotion I'm less keen to lend however!
