Where are you based mate?

 

Just heard some divot near Bellingham has got a processor so he is knocking out loads for £30 because he can do co many in a day!:scared1:

 

£30 per transit tipper load:confused1: he cant be making much profit??

prob fiver a load.......................

we have 2 prosessers and i wouldnt dare sell for £30 per load lol:lol:

if he is selling for £30 a load get me his number and ill buy his loads all day and night:001_tt1:

down here in cornwall there is a company selling soft woods such as larch , spruce , douglas fir etc etc for 120 per load for a cab star , i cant believe people will pay that for a load of semmi wet soft wood , or am i just being un realistic !!!!!!!!

 

 

 

NOT REALLY...iv noticed alot of customers are asking to keep there wood after doing a job , which means less comming back to the yard....

which also means more to buy in...:thumbdown:

and with the fairly high price of hardwoods and the lack of seasoned wood around, i can only see the cost going up...

not to mention the rate log burners are getting put in...

the guys out on the falmouth road have hundreads of tons of soft wood but no sign of any hard wood , and they have the cheek to call it top quality firewood !!!! i really think not . this winter i wont be selling logs lol really cant be bothered lol

 

Soft wood is great fire wood!, needs to be dry and burns a little faster than hard wood.

 

In Scandinavian country's, where its real cold, it petty much all they burn.
