I voted Jensen,I own two of them.I like the way they are built and perform.The electronics are simple and generally they are easy to work on.The tapered Feed rollers and fast stress control are excellent features

 

I owned a older Greenmech for a while,I think it had a Listor Petter engine in it?Good solid machine.Bit heavy for what it was.

 

Timberwolfs are good value for money,they are built to a price but I would not own one now.

I have a PTO Schiesling, would I change it for a TW? NO.

 

Do I know loads of lads that have them and love them? YES.

When you think about your average tree firm, they tend to use 3.5ton pickups, they don't take long to fill with chip.

 

If a more expensive chipper filled it 10 minuets quicker, would it be worth the expense?

but, can you make a profit on a budget? buy used instead of new?

we use 3.5 and 7.5 tonne, longer distance jobs, take 7.5, but its more about ease of job, 6"x6" rollers take loads of dressing out, esp blackthorn/hawthorn, try 6"x8 or 9" rollers see how much easier (=less strain/more profit) it is??
