Wont be a 40hp though, most likely a 30hp could be 35 if the id number plate has been removed you should find a stamped number on the flat plate which the spout sits on

Yes!!! I understand all these people ranting about "you have allready bought it" but if Its not right I'm not going to be worried about some ebay rules! I just won't buy it!!

Of most concern to me is whether it is legitimate or not - check serial numbers with TW and walk away if they are missing. I'm fairly sure those older machines weigh more than 750 kg, and that stop bar doesn't meet current hse regs. It is an old machine, don't expect it to be trouble free...

The stop bar etc doesn't concern me as I have one of these chippers allready and I never do big enough site work for it to be a concern really!
