Cool so did it speed up the climbing? As sometimes you have to dress the knot? Did you have to dress it? Are you not using it anymore? What size bead etc?

I guess it sped things up, I didn't waste any time blowing on my burning thumb and finger anyway. Maybe I just can't climb right. I moved to a spiderjack a few years ago though. Rig spacer sounds like a neat little solution.

After reading some thoughts I thought I'd buy one and at £3.50 it isn't a bank breaker if it don't work, here's some pictures what do you think so far going to test it out tomorrow.

Right I don't know if this has been said or tried? But I was thinking of a large wood round bead above the friction hitch or maybe zigzag :thumbup1: or :thumbdown: this would be loose say 13mm hole for 11mm rope?
