Noisy old industry this

I had a call today from someone claiming I could be owed money by the government due to working in a noisy industry. I told her to get a real job and hung up so didn't really get the entire gist of what she was trying to tell me. Surely this is just a scam though and not something thats actually happening?

Ambulance chasing owt for nowters :thumbdown:What a pain, contributing to a pitiful society Did the government force us to use saws and mans toys. No we just wanted to get on and do PRODUCTIVE work unlike the education system created layabouts, If I had to go into school/ etc, to do an industry related lecture. I would despair.

 

A truck driver who was 70 odd I was chatting to said at his cpc training course to the instructor

 

"Where are the young ones that the industry needs to come in to it?"

 

Instructor replied "There is lots of them look in this room"

 

They went through everybodies age , 4 or them were over retirement age. The 4 the instructor thought was young was 39,40 and 2 42s. Everyone else was inbetween.

 

Everyone wants money for nowt and hate work. Our ancestors would disown us that do have ago at working without moaning, never mind the rest.

I've had that call. It's a real scam and they work on a big percentage after you've paid upfront for insurance against losing the case!

Deafness is only the beginning, maybe you've been the victim of an accident that wasn't your fault after taking out a payment protection insurance for a mis-sold endowment mortgage.

These people are parasites! They keep ringing me about an accident that I (read as Mrs Egg) was involved in on January 1st this year saying I should be compensated for injury and the likes......I wasn't even in the motor when the accident happened!!!!

I had the national advice service ring me , I told them in no uncertain terms if they rang me again they might be getting advice they don't want to hear .
