My friend has one says agriculture on logbook not restricted use? He bought it like it

When you say logbook and restricted, you weren't expecting to find the restriction on the log book were you?

Think you can register a vehicle brand new as agri and after that it's restricted use I had my hilux on that and went all over and never got pulled not right but it was just to handy on jobs

If you want to ag register a truck it needs to fall into a body type ie tractor etc. For most multipurpose ag vehicles its easier to register them as an ag machine which covers the timber truck , tipper and bowser etc. You then have to be mindful that restrictions do apply like no motorways and some of the ag diesel rules.

where did this no motorway come from?, the restriction on motorways for agri machines is only if they cannot maintain a MINIMUM speed of 25mph, which means tractors, cos there limited to 20mph under the C&U Act, unless they have suspension on ALL wheels and brakes on ALL wheels, its the suspension bit that get the conventional tractor every time
