I've never used a throwline in a tree: I"ll make a monkey's fist and lob tha sucka.

 

yeah,I like them too.Like you MB, Im an ex Seaman(Rig Motorman) and Ive gotten to know what you can do with a monkeyfist. Though I have never seen another Arbie use one.......Are there any other users out there.?

I see what ya mean,3 wraps + 3 wraps + a loop(or similar) tyed on the end of your rope. I mistakenly thought MB meant a seperate attachable and weighted monkeysfist.I have one of them,Ive never seen another Arbie use one. LOL
