Purchased mine in august and had to take it back as it wasn't idling properly especially after cutting through a limb. Waited 8 weeks and not found out what the problem is so gave me a new saw and mine has gone back to japan apparently. It wasn't abused and not worked too hard as have a ms150 so a bit disappointed, will see how this one fares

Hello Wes, yes indeed it is the chain you mention, very agressive ferra climbing saw.

I ground the heels off the teeth of mine on my 330 EVL and it made a huge difference. But, then again, I tend to do that with about every chain I get.

I was impressed with the saw at the start, then the baffle in the exhaust came loose, it's is covered by the warranty but you have to box it up and have the work carried out by the supplier, which is fare enough, but I didn't want to go through all that hassle for a simple exhaust swap. So I was willing to pay for it, so far it's been about 8 weeks iv been waiting iv chased them up a few times, first time it was going to be at least two weeks, coming from America, then they had supply problems, now it's coming from Japan. It seems like I've been waiting for ever. If they Can't get the parts the saw is just about useless. Think I'm going back to stihl 201.
