Dave Gilmore is such a nice bloke . I have been a fan since the days of Syd Barret

 

I stopped being a fan when Syd went, shame he didn't live long after he started playing in public again, Gilmore's incarnation was good. The first few bars of Emily is one of my whistles when working.

 

I felt the same when Chicken Shack lost Christine to Fleetwoodmac and appalled when Stevie and Lindsey took over. Chap in year above me at school was Christine's drummer after Chicken Shack.

if you can find it on youtube David gilmore did a concert of his stuff and some pink floyd with backing vocals Crosby and Nash. he then says he has a guest to sing David bowie comes on and sings Arnold lane cracking gig.

just watched the gig on 4 again this afternoon sound up what a way to relax. wish wife liked them still daughter is a fan so we go to Australian and brit floyd gigs. as good but different but if i could like to see the real thing.

still waiting to get a ticket for a david gilmore gig sold out as soon as go on sale.

same with fleetwood mac had one chance to get tickets and card would not work lost out going on fleebay for triple the price
