ello. bit of a long shot, but I got hold of this little loverly a few days back.

 

just wondering if any of you chaps have any tools knocking about for one of them or some pics you have of home made tooling???

cheers jon, theres a few nice ones come up on fleabay but fetch good money, not a prob to make my own just after a few ideas or a cheap buy haha:biggrin:

One of the most useful tools is the fly press . Back in the day I was putting new " ring gears " on fly wheels for people . ( before the pre engaged starter )

I used to work on these at a boiler factory years ago, it was looked on as an instrument of torture when you were punching holes in boiler frames on piece work. If you were really going for it sometimes the counterweight flew off and it was like a bowling ball running down the shop floor.
