So I thought I should add this despite my shame at being a Transit Van driver :blushing:

Anyway, the transit is more comfortable, not as hot in the cab and easier to get tools in and out.

Of course, it's not as cool and it has no kudos or public presence.

But as well buying the most useless Arbtruck known to man, I bought a Jensen A530di and we are wildly impressed with it. It's compact, not too heavy but best of all, it chips like a mad thing. Surprisingly, it chips everything faster than the 9" PTO I had on my Mog!

Clearly it was old and the Mog was down on power but compared to the other tow alongs I've used and demoed the 540di is brilliant. Although its marketed as 7.5" it will do smooth 8" easily.

I bought it from Redwood and on the first day I found two faults (it's a used machine) but a mechanic was sent out straight away and the hydraulic leak was fixed and a new starter motor was fitted. Brilliant service 👍.

Well worth buying from a dealer. I bought my last (used) chipper from Redwood and that had some problems early on which were fixed immediately. Excellent.
