How do you mean free spool?

You push the lever upwards till it locks to release the cable if thats what you mean?

Also you can re-position the pto input shaft if you want to get a better angle on the shaft; remove the plate around the spline and turn it the other way up, you will need to shorten / lengthen the drive chain. It has an adjuster link.

I have the manual for mine if you want to know anything else.:001_smile:

You have answered it lovely, I never tried pushing lever right up. The pto shaft was cut to fit an old Massey with tiny lift arms, the mogs are quite long.

If you look closely there are some extra wee pulleys so you can have a rope on the release mechanism too, they are usually colour coded and can be run into the tractor cab. Not on your mog though!

very smart, what gets kept in the caged section above the tool box?

There's a fold down section that extends over the cab so you can walk right along the top of the truck. Just made out of the same stuff as the cage. The cage itself is for stuff like spare tyres etc that we don't need to keep locked away. Basically we want to be able to keep all the gear on the truck and not have to unload every night.

Big tool box means council has to spend more money on more toys to fill it Adam. BC1000? Pah, we just got our 12 inch drum bandit. Still all spanky and sparkly new. Gets its first workout next week once the truck arrives  Nothing like the sound of that Perkins turbo diesel starting up to get the old destruction juices running.
