Will do Ian. Where are you working at mo, are you still doing bits with Atko??

I am doing my own thing these days. Built up a fair bit of my own work over the last few years. I have been working out in Honduras for the last 3/4 summers but sticking about in Dorset to develop the arb work side of things a bit.

I only did a day with him.

Obviously not mine, but would make an ace arb truck. Proper 6x6 with 5 diff locks and 2ton load capacity

Like that a lot!! The Aussie army have some funky G_Wagens.

Do you need a built in compressor for that?

Yes, a system with air shocks usually has a built in 12v compressor and a load sensing program that will maintain a set height.

Another option is hijackers: Air shock absorbers that doesn't have a compressor and a load sensing program. The air pressure and ride height is manually adjusted.

Yeah, both systems work great. Luckily my car came from the factory with air shocks :001_smile: . The rear end on it is always level even with the nose heavy chipper on the back :thumbup1:

Hijackers would be a great addition to a vehicle with regular shocks. Run the tubing up into the wheel wells or behind the rear bumper, and buy a 12v compressor that you can bring with you. That way you can inflate them while out in the field.
