2nd that! People might think more about bigger chippers if these were on the uk market although would need a few tweets to bring them up too ce speck.

Wouldn't take much I don't think, there a bit bandit looking but seem to perform far better imo.

The auto feed on a 9 inch bandit wouldn't cut in as quick nor would it spit shards back at you !

It's a decent machine but at 65 hp a bit underpowered for 10 inch and looks a bit light build wise once some big timber goes through it.

Might be cheaper once imported and easier to tow though.

We should send you some kiwi made 10 x 18 inch 1400kgs chippers.

 

Im sure with 600kgs to play with they could get em to rotate as they do with there 7 x 13 inch 750kg models

The 7 inch that rotates has a 27hp petrol kohler (the non rotating version has a 29hp diesel), and the 10 inch has a 65hp diesel.

 

Now both diesels are branded kohler but I think they are made by lobardini as kohler now owns them.

 

I have an old diesel 6 inch made by hansa and its got a lombardini engine.
