husqvarna (outdoor equipment, not the sewing machines etc) has been seperate from electrolux for a number of years.

 

the husky corp own mcculloch as of last year, they also baught zenoah (redmax) at the same time and some other bits and bobs.

 

they have owned partner, jonsered and poulan for some time.

Treebeard is nearly right! Husqvarna were spun off by Electrolux in April 2006, and now float on the Swedish stock market. Amongst the brands we own are Husqvarna, Flymo, Partner, McCulloch, Zenoah, Peerless, Gardena, Jonsered - and thats before we even start on the construction products! Net sales in 08 were approx SEK 32000million (Swedish Krona) which at todays exchange rate is £2500million. Its all on the Husqvarna - Global Leader in Outdoor Power Equipment website if you're interested.

all that money and u cant make a decent climbing saw

 

If I can point out at least 10 things to change on a Husky top handled saw within around 30 seconds of holding one, then how come "THE GLOBAL LEADERS IN OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT" cant.:001_tongue:
