had a few pairs back in the day, man they were hard on your feet, usually the insoles give out before anything else.

seem ok trudging round the house so far, wont be getting quite the use they would as saw boots

I dreamed of them when trudging around in huge orange Wellies trying to climb over Sitka brash!!

Nice find.

i'd rather have a gin trap on each foot than go back into wellies

They look like the ones specified by FC and made by the CO OP. Wore out a good few pairs.

Only 6 miles from me and used to get seconds for between £15 and £20

But never really liked them

The Oregon green boot was a revolutionary boot

Yes that's the firm, owned by the co op and we too moved to the Stihl green boot when they came out.

I have had many chainsaw safety boots since 1985 , my favourite was probably the Elten boots , but it should be appreciated by us all just how good gear is nowadays ( although costly ) and would just like to add I have NEVER cut a pair of boots , or trousers !!..... Honestly !!
