So the long and the short is that Stihl released a saw that........wasn't quite ready yet:blushing::001_rolleyes:

 

Yep and Stihl admitted it on Friday.

They said the cylinder & piston upgrade with a carburettor would improve it, I fitted two, never changed a thing. I could tune it till it was on it's limit and it wouldn't perform like a 200T. So really I would sell the 201T, and try and buy a 200T and spend all your money on that over the years because there's no better top handle, the t540xp is great but still wouldn't put it to be as good as the 200. So really I wouldn't buy things for a 201 as I can't see it changing it.
