What a piece of crap that saw was!!! The sad thing is, unless you bothered to look, you'd assume that the picture he had obviously ripped off the Stihl catologue was a genuine one!! Imagine how gutted you'd be when that thing turned up for 500 notes!!!:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Selling non uk saws in the uk is illegal

 

 

Apart from clones & knock offs its not against the law to sell "grey" imports (as long as they are CE marked). One of the biggest cosmetic companies has just lost its case in court to stop people selling personal imported stuff on ebay. Do you think the might (well they do just about control the Gov as has been seen with all the money they have been given) of the car companies would allow grey import cars if they could stop them by using the law?

Thats totally true, and tbh i was aware of that, but I couldn't be bothered to write that to someone who was obviouslt taking the piss already. He probably knew it aswell.:001_smile:

I (also) emailed the chap and he replied saying he didn't realise it was a fake and has removed it... haven't looked to see if he has...

 

Did he write this....Thank you for pointing this out to me i genuinely did not see that the saw was a fake, and ive removed it.

 

Busted is the word i think he was looking for.:sneaky2:
